In less than two years in Seattle, Bold Reuse has already eliminated 1 million items from a landfill through reusable system.
SEATTLE — Climate Pledge Arena has replaced its single-use aluminum cups with reusable alternatives, marking the latest step in the venue’s mission to remain the world’s most sustainable arena. The venue joins other Seattle-based organizations making similar changes, including select Starbucks locations and multiple local theaters and concert halls.
The Seattle arena, which uses approximately 7,000 cups per event across more than 150 annual events, had previously been sending more than 1 million aluminum cups to recycling facilities each year.
