The Seattle Seahawks will face off against division rival Los Angeles Rams on Sunday in the NFC Championship.
SEATTLE — Raising the 12 flag is a time honored tradition in Seattle, both at Lumen Field ahead of the game and at notable landmarks across the city and state.
Friday, former Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril carried out the tradition atop the city’s most iconic landmark: the Space Needle.
“I’m excited to be able to raise the 12th man flag to start off something special. Go Hawks!,” Avril said on Friday morning.
