SEATTLE — City officials said Tuesday that Seattle’s new real-time crime center has made a positive impact on public safety.
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and police Chief Shon Barnes said the city’s Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) has been involved in 600 reported incidents and 90 active criminal investigations since the program was launched May 20.
According to a release, the RTCC uses active cameras along Aurora Avenue, Third Avenue and the Chinatown International District. Officials said the RTCC, located at the Seattle Police Department
