While Sound Transit and contractors were working on Tacoma’s Link light rail extension, they damaged electrical infrastructure on two occasions, the lawsuit claims.
TACOMA, Wash. — The City of Tacoma is suing Sound Transit and two contractors over damage done to electrical infrastructure during work on the Link light rail extension in 2022.
The lawsuit, which was filed in Pierce County Superior Court last week, asks for repayment for the repair work, along with attorney fees and “reasonable investigation and expert consultant fees.”
