WSP says a fire truck was hit by a semi-truck after it responded to the scene.
GRAND MOUND, Wash. — Two lanes of northbound Interstate 5 near Grand Mound are blocked early Wednesday morning after a fatal collision that reportedly led to a car being fully engulfed in flames.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) first posted about the collision at 6:47 a.m. Wednesday, saying the right two lanes of I-5 northbound were blocked. An update from WSDOT at 7:24 a.m. says the right lane is blocked still and backups have reached about two miles to the border of Lewis and Thurston Counties.
