After a calculated overnight heist left her without thousands in equipment, a longtime Seattle baker is asking for the community’s help to keep her business open.
SEATTLE — A beloved bakery in Seattle’s Central District is asking for help after thieves pulled off a calculated heist that left the owner heartbroken and her small business reeling.
Lillian E. Hill, the owner of Brown Sugar Baking Company, says the thieves took about $8,500 worth of baking equipment — not including the cost of canceled orders and lost business.
