Bonney Lake mother charged for infant son’s fentanyl overdose appears in court

15-month-old Weston Tucker was found unresponsive on a bed near drugs that tested positive for fentanyl, according to court documents. He died a few days later.

BONNEY LAKE, Wash. — Two Pierce County parents are now in custody, accused of causing the death of their one-year-old baby boy.

Nicholas Tucker and Karlee Eley are both facing a first-degree manslaughter charge for the death of their son, 15-month-old Weston Tucker.

Eley had her first court appearance Wednesday where she pleaded not guilty and had bail set at $1 million, which is the same bail amount set for Tucker earlier this month.
