Boeing workers sue over unpaid time spent putting on safety gear

A proposed class action says Boeing workers in Washington lost pay before shifts while getting gear and walking to work areas.

EVERETT, Wash. — A former Boeing worker has filed a proposed class action in federal court, alleging the company failed to pay hourly employees for all time worked and did not provide proper meal and rest breaks, according to a court complaint.

The lawsuit was filed by Alexander Lara-Trespalacios, who said he worked as an in-tank mechanic for Boeing’s Integral Fuel Cell Assembly in Everett from about July 2018 to April 2025.
