KINGSTON, Wash. — Authorities are investigating an apparent drowning after the body of a commercial fishing boat crew member was discovered underwater at Kingston Marina on Thursday.
The victim, a 42-year-old deckhand, was reported missing by a crew member who called 911. First responders located and recovered the body at the end of a dock at the marina.
The Kitsap County Medical Examiner will conduct an examination to determine the official cause and manner of death. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
