‘Belltown Hellcat’ driver to be sentenced in reckless driving case

SEATTLE — The man who became infamously known as the “Belltown Hellcat” driver in Seattle is expected to be sentenced Monday after being convicted of reckless driving in June.

Miles Hudson, 22, drew the ire of many in his former Seattle neighborhood with his modified Dodge Charger that he would loudly drive around the city in the early hours of the morning. That ire eventually extended to city officials as well as law enforcement, leading to two different criminal cases and a civil penalty of over $80,000.
