BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A canceled contract is bringing delays to the redevelopment of the Bellingham waterfront.
Citing delays and missed deadlines, the Port of Bellingham ended its agreement with Ireland-based Harcourt Development. That means holdups in a project already a decade in the making.
Julia Tzortzatos and her husband opened Mercado Delle Bonta in the Bellingham waterfront’s Granary building a year and a half ago because they saw the beauty of the area.
