Tumwater police are investigating an alleged assault of a minor.
TUMWATER, Wash. — Tumwater police are investigating an alleged assault of a minor involving students from Bellarmine Preparatory School.
The incident occurred off campus and outside school hours, authorities said.
Officers received notification of the incident on Oct. 4, according to police. Tacoma police initially dispatched officers to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital to interview the victim, but the investigation was transferred to the Tumwater Police Department after officers learned the alleged assault occurred within Tumwater’s jurisdiction.
The case involves both a minor victim and one or more minor suspects, police said.
