The video of a 600-pound grizzly bear chasing the Seattle Kraken mascot Buoy and center John Hayden in the Alaskan wilderness quickly spread online.
SEATTLE — It was a day the Hayden siblings will never forget.
“It was just really special,” said Catherine Hayden. “The fishing day for John and I, we said was a Top 5 day.”
John Hayden was asked by the team if he wanted to attend a fly-fishing trip to Katmai National Park, followed by a week-long youth hockey camp in Anchorage.
