KENMORE, Wash. — Bastyr University has announced plans to sell its Kenmore campus as the institution faces strong financial headwinds, university officials confirmed this week.
The university’s trustees voted on May 7 to authorize President Devin Byrd to list the campus for sale, offering up more than 50 acres of land and multiple buildings. Future development scenarios include options for affordable, mixed-use, multi-family housing in a village-like setting, according to a news release.
