SEATTLE — Barnes & Noble will soon take over most of the University Book Store’s merchandise sales on University Avenue in Seattle.
Beginning this summer, Barnes & Noble Inc. will manage the general books department, while the University Book Store will continue selling textbooks, student supplies and branded merchandise, a spokesperson said.
The partnership will allow the store to expand its footprint of its general titles to more than 17,000 square feet, increasing its inventory and selection.
