SEATTLE — A Ballard High School student died after falling Thursday at Gas Works Park, Seattle Public Schools (SPS) confirmed Monday.
Mattheis Johnson, 15, was killed in an accident following an outdoor pop-up concert at the Seattle park, according to the family’s official GoFundMe. A spokesperson for the Seattle Fire Department said Johnson fell from a platform about 50 feet in the air. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
