The Ballard Food Bank has reopened its doors, one week after a stabbing that rattled staff and clients.
SEATTLE — A week after a violent incident forced a temporary closure, the Ballard Food Bank is open again and serving clients in North Seattle.
The nonprofit shut down for a week after police say a client stabbed a food bank employee last Monday morning. For many who rely on the food bank, returning this week brought relief but also lingering disbelief.
