Auburn man confesses to killing his wife, prosecutors say

The couple’s three young kids were home when it happened. Police say they did not witness the crime and are now in Child Protective Services.

AUBURN, Wash. — An Auburn man has been charged with first-degree murder after prosecutors say he called 911 to report he had strangled his wife to death while their three young children were home. 

Sayed Nazir Sadat, 37, is being held on $3 million bail in the death of his wife, Geety Safat, at their Gentry Walk Apartments home.
