Amazon, Sound Transit commit $100M to Seattle affordable housing project

In a joint statement on Wednesday, Amazon and Sound Transit announced a $100 million commitment to the efforts of 1,200 new affordable housing units.

These homes are to be located on Sound Transit property, with easy access to light rail stations. This project and partnership are designed to ensure that low-income families can reside in good neighborhoods, with easy transportation to work, school, healthcare, and other city amenities.
