The ground stop delayed more than 200 Alaska and Horizon flights at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
SEATAC, Wash. — A ground stop for all Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air flights has been lifted.
The airline requested a temporary nationwide ground stop Sunday evening due to an IT outage around 8 p.m. That was lifted at 11 p.m. Sunday.
“As we reposition our aircraft and crews, there will most likely be residual impacts to our flights,” the airline said in a statement. “It will take some time to get our overall operations back to normal.”
