LAKE STEVENS, Wash. — One person was killed in a collision with a semitruck along Highway 9 near Lake Stevens on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Trooper Kelsey Harding said on social media that the collision took place near 84th Street Northeast between one car and a semitruck.
A 72-year-old woman was driving south on Highway 9 when she lost control and entered the northbound lane. The car was hit by a semitruck and the car’s passenger, a 72-year-old man, died at the scene, according to WSP. The woman was
