Redmond police arrested seven people, including Microsoft employees, who barricaded themselves inside an executive office in protest.
REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police arrested seven people, including two Microsoft employees, who allegedly barricaded themselves inside the president’s office on the Redmond campus Tuesday afternoon.
The group refused to leave and were taken into custody for trespassing, resisting arrest and obstruction, according to police. No injuries were reported.
Other demonstrators who were outside the building at the time moved to public property and later dispersed. No additional arrests were made, according to police.
The incident was connected to the group No Azure for Apartheid.
