A vehicle struck a 6-year-old girl in a Seattle crosswalk, leaving her in critical condition, police say.
SEATTLE — A 6-year-old girl was transported to the hospital in critical condition after she was struck by a vehicle on Sunday, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Seattle police said the child and her mother were walking in a crosswalk just before noon in the area of Rainier Avenue S and S Charles St. when she was struck.
Police said first responders gave the girl CPR before she was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where she is in critical condition as of 12:30.
