PUYALLUP, Wash. — Five people were taken to the hospital after a multi-vehicle collision in Puyallup on Sunday morning, according to Central Pierce Fire and Rescue.
Firefighters and Puyallup police responded to the crash around 11 a.m. near 31st Avenue SW and Meridian. The overpass to state Route 512 is closed, but the freeway remains open.
Of the five people involved, one person had to be extricated from their vehicle, Central Pierce said.
