Four school districts in Washington are under investigation for allegedly violating Title IX by allowing students to compete in sports based on gender identities.

SEATTLE — The Department of Education is investigating four school districts in Washington state for allegedly violating Title IX by allowing students to compete in sports based on their gender identities.

In total, 18 school districts across the U.S. are under investigation, including Cheney Public Schools, Sultan School District No. 311, Tacoma Public Schools and Vancouver Public Schools.
