JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. — Four soldiers have been charged in the sexual assault of a college student, now-commissioned officer of the Army at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM).
The incident took place Oct. 27, 2024.
Cpl. Pedro Angel Ruiz, 29; Army Pvt. 2nd Class Deron J. Gordon, 20; Army Specialist Jadon Bosarge, 24; and Private First Class Kallon Curiel, 19, were all charged in April 2025.
