TACOMA, Wash. — A 2-year-old child was reported missing Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex in Tacoma and was later found in a nearby pond, officials said.
The child was reported missing around 1:30 p.m. at the Fairways apartments in the 4900 block of Fairwood Boulevard Northeast, according to Tacoma police. Shortly after the report, the child was located in a nearby pond and transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
