2 people being treated for gunshot wounds after shooting on I-5

Two people were taken to Harborview Medical Center for gunshot wounds. It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.

SEATTLE — Law enforcements officials are investigating whether two people shot in Seattle are linked to the same incident on Interstate 5 Wednesday. 

A 43-year-old was treated in South Lake Union before being taken to Harborview Medical Center, Seattle police said, and a second person walked into the Harborview emergency room with a gunshot wound, according to Washington State Patrol (WSP). 

The 43-year-old was driving on northbound I-5 when when he was shot at and hit, according to the Seattle Police Department.
