A man is accused of carjacking a woman in Kent before leading police on a chase through Maple Valley.
KENT, Wash. — A man and a woman are in custody after a police chase that crisscrossed south King County Tuesday afternoon.
Kent police were sent to the 20900 block of 110 Avenue SE for reports of a stolen vehicle around 12:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found the Cadillac Escalade, which fled.
Police officers did not pursue the vehicle, citing state restrictions.
Guardian 1, the King County Sheriff’s Office support helicopter, followed the vehicle.
