Two people were seriously injured after fireworks exploded inside a car in Gold Bar just after midnight on New Year’s Day.
GOLD BAR, Wash. — Two people were injured after fireworks exploded inside a car in Gold Bar on New Year’s Day, according to the Sky Valley Fire Department (SFD).
The department responded to a call about a car explosion on May Creek Road after midnight.
SFD said an adult man and an adult woman were both seriously injured, with burns to their faces and hands.
They were both taken to nearby hospitals in serious condition.
