124-year-old Everett Theatre to reopen in September under new ownership

The Everett Theatre closed this summer for renovations. It will be back this fall with concerts, comedy shows and other events.

EVERETT, Wash. — The historic Everett Theatre is set to reopen in September after being bought and undergoing several months of renovations.

The theater was acquired by Johnny Phan, a Bellevue real estate broker with Skyline Properties Inc. It was fully remodeled with seating for 800 people.

Former owner Curt Shriner announced the sale in May. The theater had shows booked through the end of June, and the new owner planned to close the theater in July and August for renovations, Shriner said.
