1 man killed in south Tacoma shooting

Detectives are still working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting.

TACOMA, Wash. — A man was killed in a shooting Sunday evening in South Tacoma, according to police.

Officers were called to the 5100 block of South 58th Street around 6:55 p.m. for reports of gunfire, the Tacoma Police Department said.

Police said a man was found with a gunshot wound and lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful. They are questioning an individual, but no arrests have been made.

Detectives are still working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting.
