1 Line service resumes after brief closure at Lynnwood City Center station

The King County Sheriff’s K-9 bomb detection unit was dispatched to the Lynnwood City Center Station, later confirming nothing suspicious was found.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The 1 Line station at Lynnwood City Center briefly closed Wednesday afternoon after authorities responded to a report of a suspicious package.

Sound Transit first alerted riders at 4:57 p.m. that the station was closed “until further notice due to emergency response,” and instructed passengers to exit the station and plan for additional travel time.
