A large tree fell onto a car on Florence Acres Road near Old Owens Road, killing one person on Wednesday night.
MONROE, Wash. — One person is dead after a tree fell onto a vehicle near Monroe on Wednesday night, according to Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue.
Crews responded to a report of a crash with entrapment involving a large tree on Florence Acres Road near Old Owens Road, the agency said in a social media post.
Officials later said the sole occupant in the car died when a “large tree” fell onto the vehicle.
