TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department (TPD) is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured Sunday.
The shooting occurred around 3 p.m. near the 4000 block of South Warner Street in Tacoma. TPD said when officers arrived, two adult male victims had sustained gunshot wounds. The Tacoma Fire Department (TFD) provided lifesaving care, but one victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
