Get ready for a box office feast.
Disney’s animated “Zootopia 2” is poised to dominate the Thanksgiving holiday with projections of $135 million to $150 million over its first five days in theaters. The family film, which opens in over 4,000 domestic venues on Wednesday, will provide another jolt for cinemas following Universal’s “Wicked: For Good,” which ignited to $147 million last weekend. That movie musical is projected to add at least $80 million over the three-day weekend and above $100 million between Wednesday and Sunday.
