For the second time in less than a week, Elon Musk’s X — the social media platform formerly known as Twitter — suffered widespread technical problems. But the outage appeared to be resolved within a few minutes.
Error reports with X began to surge around noon ET Thursday, according to uptime monitoring site Downdetector. As of 12:14 p.m. ET, more than 20,000 users had submitted problem reports for the social networking site, per Downdetector. The problems were affecting both x.com and the X mobile apps.
