Wynonna Judd Reflects on Losing Her Mother in First Interview Since Naomi Judd’s Death: ‘It’s Not Supposed to Be Like This’

Ahead of what was originally planned to be the Judds’ reunion tour, Wynonna Judd opened up about the death of her mother, Naomi Judd, and discussed what she calls “a new chapter” in a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

The 58-year-old country music singer said that she still feels “incredibly angry” following her mother’s suicide, adding that the emotion — which she says probably won’t go away, “not for a while” — comes as a result of not being able to provide aid for her mother before she ended her life.
