Video Game Publication Kotaku Acquired by Gizmodo Owner Keleops

Popular video game publication Kotaku has been acquired by Gizmodo owner Keleops from G/O Media in an all-cash deal that closed Wednesday.

Founded in 2004, Kotaku reaches 3 million monthly users in the US, per Comscore, and totals a social media following of more than 4 million.

The Kotaku acquisition by media company Keleops, which has offices based in Switzerland, New York and Paris, comes on the heels of Keleops purchasing Gizmodo one year ago from G/O Media.
