Paramount’s “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” soared to the top of China’s box office over the May 30–June 1 weekend, earning RMB184.5 million ($25.6 million), according to Artisan Gateway.
The film’s high-octane action sequences and Imax screenings contributed to its strong performance. Imax accounted for $4.9 million of the film’s total China box office. The China opening weekend is also Imax’s biggest for a Hollywood title in 2025.
