“The Irrational” has been canceled at NBC after two seasons, Variety has learned.
The police procedural series originally debut on NBC in 2023. Jesse L. Martin leads the cast, which also includes Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz, and Arash DeMaxi. The show is based on the book “Predictably Irrational” by Dan Ariely.
Per the official description, the show “follows world-renowned professor of behavioral science Alec Mercer (Martin) as he lends his unique expertise on an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, law enforcement and corporations.
