Hulu has unveiled a first look at “The Testaments,” the upcoming sequel series to “The Handmaid’s Tale.”
The series, which is set to premiere in April 2026, is based on “The Handmaid’s Tale” author Margaret Atwood’s 2019 novel of the same name and is set in the dystopian theocracy of Gilead years after the events of the original series. “The Testaments,” per the official logline, “is a coming of age story that finds a new generation of young women in Gilead grappling with the bleak future that awaits them.
