Swedish distributor Klubb Super 8 has declared 2025 “The Year of Christina Lindberg,” announcing a slate of premium Blu-ray releases celebrating the cult actor during this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The initiative kicks off with Thursday’s release of a double-disc edition of “Thriller – A Cruel Picture” (1973), the groundbreaking revenge film famously cited by Quentin Tarantino as inspiration for Darryl Hannah’s character in “Kill Bill.”
