Sundance Names 2026 Screenwriters Lab and Intensive Fellows; Barry Jenkins, Lulu Wang and More to Advise (EXCLUSIVE)

The Sundance Institute has announced the filmmakers selected for its 2026 Screenwriters Lab and Screenwriters Intensive from a pool of more than 3,800 submissions.

The Screenwriters Lab kicks off Saturday at the Sundance Mountain Resort in Utah, where the Institute’s labs originated in 1981. This year’s session is being held in celebration of founder Robert Redford’s mission and legacy.
