Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the North American distribution rights to Pedro Almodóvar‘s latest film, “Bitter Christmas,” which recently wrapped production.
This is the most recent in a line of films created by Almodóvar and released by Sony Pictures Classics, as the label previously distributed the director’s English-language debut “The Room Next Door” in 2024, his short film “Strange Way of Life” in 2023 and his Academy Award nominated features, “Parallel Mothers” and “Pain and Glory” in 2021 and 2019, respectively.
