The 2025 SCAD Savannah Film Festival will honor filmmaker Jon M. Chu for his contributions to visual storytelling with the Vanguard Director Award.
The award presentation will take place on Oct. 26, and will include a conversation about his career, forthcoming film, “Wicked: For Good” and select clips from Chu’s filmography.
Presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design, the film festival returns for its 28th year and will be held from Oct. 25 to Nov. 1.
