India’s Panorama Studios has inked a landmark partnership with Malayalam cinema star Nivin Pauly to produce a slate of Malayalam-language features with a cumulative budget of INR100 crore ($11.1 million), marking one of the largest deals in Malayalam cinema history.
The multi-film collaboration will see Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak producing for Panorama Studios alongside Pauly, who will serve as both actor and producer. The slate will span multiple genres aimed at Indian and international audiences.
Panorama Studios has built a track record producing commercially successful Hindi-language films including the “Drishyam,” “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” and “Raid” franchises, and “Shaitaan.” The company launched with Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Omkara”
