Mohammad Rasoulof to Chair Kerala Jury as ‘Palestine 36’ Opens Fest, Abderrahmane Sissako Gets Lifetime Honor

The 30th International Film Festival of Kerala has unveiled its opening night film, jury chair and lifetime achievement recipient ahead of its upcoming edition in Thiruvananthapuram.

Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Rasoulof, who was forced into exile following his recent legal troubles in Iran, will serve as jury chair for the international competition. Joining him on the jury are Spanish actor Ángela Molina, Vietnamese filmmaker and writer Bùi Thạc Chuyên, Malaysian filmmaker Edmund Yeo, and British-Indian filmmaker Sandhya Suri.
