Japanese blockbuster “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle” remained on top of the Korean box office for a third weekend, grossing $3.8 million from 499,120 admissions between Sept. 5–7. The film has now reached a cumulative $30.7 million from 3.96 million tickets sold, according to Kobis, the tracking service operated by the Korean Film Council.
“The Conjuring: Last Rites” debuted in second place with $1.2 million from 164,695 admissions. The latest installment in the horror franchise, directed by Michael Chaves and starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, accounted for 14.8% of the market.
