Courtney Love, one of the most influential female figures in alternative culture in the 1990s and 2000s, is getting the documentary treatment.
“Antiheroine” — which was just announced by Sundance as one of the festival’s 2027 edition world premieres — has been in the works for some time, following Love in London, where she moved a few years ago.
“Singer, songwriter, and actor Courtney Love has long had an impact on rock and pop culture,” reads the logline. “Now sober and set to release new music for the first time in over a decade, Courtney is ready to reveal her story, unfiltered and unapologetic.”
